About the cultural intifada
Works presented here are part of a larger movement of Cultural Intifada.
As an artist and writer I pledge allegiance to the Palestinian resistance, and to the resistance of all people struggling against oppression from Sudan to Congo to so-called Australia.
I put forward works of art as part of the resistance. Art can and should be an active part of the struggle against Zionism, imperialism, capitalism and settler-colonialism.
Art can and should be at the forefront of class struggles, and of our collective struggle for the emancipation of all people through socialist revolution.

What we do in the theatre is not trying to be a substitute or an alternative to the Palestinian resistance in the struggle for liberation, just the opposite. This must be clear… We join, by all means, the Palestinian struggle for liberation, which is our liberation struggle. We are not healers. We are not good Christians.
